As a therapist I try to cultivate a space of safety and non-judgment that allows individuals to experience and express the most vulnerable parts of themselves. I truly believe that vulnerability is a characteristic of bravery. Sometimes the bravest thing one can do is show up for themselves!
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in couples, family, adults, and adolescent services with experience working with and treating the full spectrum of the life span. I am an Experiential Somatic Therapist. I also utilize expressive art modalities and other creative interventions. I have many tools to assist with self-expressions and self-exploration. Other therapies and modalities I utilize in my practice are CBT, DBT, Family Systems Therapy, Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Attachment Theory. I have experience working with a variety of issues including trauma, family stressors, relationship concerns, life changes and transitions, anxiety, stress, depression symptoms, self-esteem concerns, work/life balance, work stressors, interpersonal conflicts, multicultural concerns, adjustment, maladaptive behaviors, and attachment issues.
Collaboratively alongside you, we will create individualized goals to address your unique needs. We will focus on building your toolbox of skills that help you to accessibly, sustainably, and practically manage your symptoms, emotions, and experiences in daily life.
